Download the Edbot Software for your platforms using the links below. Please ensure you run the same version of software on each device on your network.
The Edbot Software runs on Microsoft Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10/11 and is provided as a standard signed installer.
To install the software, double click the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
The Edbot Software is currently available for macOS 10.12 to 10.15 (Catalina) and is packaged as a DMG file. Note there have been breaking changes to the Bluetooth system in later macOS releases and we don’t have the resources to continue to support this platform.
To install the software, double click the downloaded DMG file and accept the EULA to mount the image. Drag the Edbot Software icon to the Applications shortcut provided in the Edbot Software Setup window. When that's done type ⌘E to close the Edbot Software Setup window and eject the image.
We provide builds for x64 and arm32hf (Raspberry Pi) architectures. You'll need to be running a desktop such as GNOME, KDE, LXDE or Pixel. The Edbot Software is packaged as a self-extracting archive.
To install the software, open a terminal window and type the appropriate command depending on the file you've downloaded:
sudo sh <path-to-downloaded-file>/edbot_linux_x64.bin
sudo sh <path-to-downloaded-file>/edbot_linux_arm32hf.bin
